This hotel is the Manhattan debut of the Marriott Select Service brand. The hotel’s layout is functional while retaining the separation of spaces in the suite which is a SpringHill Suites hallmark. Its metal panel façade includes green elements and pop-out features.
The unique meeting room, with wood flooring seamlessly flowing up the wall and across the ceiling, becomes the main design element. Offset planks protrude in an undulating fashion across the wall, incorporating pops of greenery to hint at the natural elements in the lobby. Extending from the garden pockets, inset strips of blackened metal run across the ceiling and drop over the meeting room table, sprinkling a like rain, handblown glass pendant lights.
